Thieves return goods to charity

accreditation

Thieves have returned electronic goods they stole from a charity in the US.

The group brought back six computers with hard drives, a laptop and a bag of valuables they took from aid organisation Sexual Assault Services Centre in San Bernadino, California.

Along with the goods, they left a note apologising for taking the loot.

It read, "We had no idea what we were takeing. Here your stuff back. We hope that you guys can continue to make a difference in people's lives. GOD BLESS. (sic)"

San Bernardino Police Lt Paul Williams told NBC Los Angeles, "This is the first time in my career I have seen the return of stolen items.

"It appears the guilt of taking the property caused the return of the items."
