Christo says their baby will be born in five weeks’ time. He chose the name Elijah. “It’s strongly meaningful to me. Elijah was a major figure in the Old Testament and he’s also referred to in one of the last verses of the Old Testament: Malachi 4:5.”

What lessons in life would he like to teach the little boy one day? “The same lessons as my grandfather, Goliath, (actor Goliath Davids) taught me. If you know where you come from you’ll always know where you’re headed. First do what you must do and afterwards you can do what you want to do.”
Christo has been busy since leaving the Laan. He’s still involved with the soap and works behind the scenes as a director.
