Tom Hiddleston first Instagram post is everything we hoped it would be


The actor hit the social media platform for the first time on Tuesday to share the selfie with his fans. Tom, who is currently shooting the latest Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok, appeared in full costume and simply captioned the shot: "He's back!"

The lone snap earned Hiddleston over 200,000 followers in just a few hours and the number is growing. Read more: Tom Hiddleston FINALLY speaks out on Taylor Swift romance Tom was joined by his girlfriend Taylor Swift when he started shooting in Australia last month, but the pop star has since returned to the U.S., where she performed with rapper Nelly at oil heir Mike Hess' birthday party in the Hamptons, New York over the weekend. In video footage posted online, Taylor tackled Kelly Rowland's parts in her Nelly duet Dilemma, as she danced with the rapper on Saturday night.

The stars previously collaborated last year, 2015 when Nelly served as a special guest on Taylor's 1989 World Tour when it stopped in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

Hiddleston wasn't at the bash but he surely wouldn't have minded his girlfriend kissing the birthday boy on the cheek.

Tom and Taylor are expected to reunite once his filming commitments to the latest Thor film have ended. The singer has been on an extended break after spending much of 2015 touring the world on her sold out 1989 tour.

The couple was inseparable during the first weeks of its romance, with Tom joining the Love Story singer at her Rhode Island retreat over America's Independence Day holiday at the beginning of July, 2016 and she accompanied him back home to Britain before he started work on the new Thor blockbuster in Australia.
