Uma’s spokesperson had not immediately commented on reports of the filing.
Uma and Arpad began seeing each other in 2007, although they briefly split in 2009. The couple became engaged after reconciling but called off plans to marry last spring.
Recent reports have suggested she recently rekindled her romance with ex, hotelier André Balazs. The pair began dating in 2003 but ended their on/off relationship in 2007.
However, a source told the New York Post she was seen at André’s establishment Sunset Beach in the Hamptons back in August. According to an insider, André "discreetly" met up with his former flame while at the venue.
At the time of their split, Uma and André insisted they would remain on close terms.
I’m with a wonderful man who's been there for me - that's something very unusual for me," she once said of André.
Recent reports also linked Uma to Kill Bill director Quentin Tarantino. Those claims were swiftly dismissed at speculation.
Uma also shares two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
