Vanessa Hudgens’ fiery makeover

Vanessa Hudgens has dyed her hair red. The Gimme Shelter star has been rocking ombre locks for the past few months, with blonde ends. But Vanessa has now switched the lighter locks for a new fiery shade ahead of the spookiest holiday of the year. Sharing a shot of her new look on Instagram, Vanessa wrote: “Someone (ME) is very excited for Halloween. Meaning I had to dye my hair to match the season. Hallelujah for @ninezeroone and @riawnacapri @nikkilee901 for making this happen with @greatlengthsusa #VAMP.”

In the picture, Vanessa is seen with a slick of bright red lipstick to match her new hair, pouting for all she’s worth.

Vanessa had earlier posted a picture of herself at the wash basin, having the red dye rinsed out.

She captioned the picture with a slightly worrying: “I hit my head... Am I bleeding???”

Vanessa’s hairstylist Nikki Lee, who co-owns the Nine Zero One salon, also posted a shot of her client’s new look on Instagram, with the caption: “This happened!”

Vanessa’s change of appearance is the fourth time she has undergone a hair makeover this year. Previous shades she has experimented with included gold and a turquoise hue.

Vanessa also appeared to have been inspired by her former High School Musical co-star and best friend Ashley Tisdale.

The former blonde stunned fans earlier this week when she revealed she had followed in the footsteps of Nicole Richie and Kelly Osbourne by dyeing her hair purple.

However, instead of going for an all-over colour, Ashley opted to just tint the ends of her hair for a low-maintenance new look.
