VB too frail for friends?

The British fashion designer is always on the go, with her ever expanding style empire continuing to soar.

'Close up, she's even tinier than she looks in pictures'

She recently opened up a flagship store in London and last week headed to the North of England to launch her new collection at Manchester's Selfridges.

While many fans loved seeing the style star using public transport to get to the superstore, others are reportedly concerned over how skinny she seems.

"Victoria's looking exhausted right now. Close up, she's even tinier than she looks in pictures and no amount of make-up can hide the fact that she looks in need of a long holiday, sleep and lots of hearty home-cooked meals," a close source revealed to British magazine Now.

While 40-year-old Victoria looked sleek in a white chunky knit sweater, a floor length black skirt and a pair of heels, she failed to smile for waiting photographers as she posed by her new designs.

The insider says Victoria has been feeling the strain recently.

"When she gets stressed, she doesn't sleep. Some night's she's been surviving on three to four hours and running on adrenaline during the day," the source added.

Her husband David is supportive of all her work ventures, but it's also thought he wants her to slow down.

As well as running her fashion empire she's a busy mother of four and is also a keen runner, having previously admitted she's obsessed with jogging.

"[David] hates to see her burning the candle at both ends. While he's taken a step back from work, spending a lot of time at home looking after the kids, Victoria's schedule seems to be getting crazier and he's worried she's pushing it too far," the source said.
