In the late 1990s, Victoria rose to fame with the Spice Girls, and was dubbed Posh Spice as a result of her stylish persona. In the past decade she’s turned her hand to fashion, launching her eponymous brand in 2008, and winning over the fashion pack with her sleek designs.
And it’s with a focus on her fashion and family life, the 42-year-old is finally comfortable in her own skin.
“I know that I feel happier in my skin now than I did at 20,” she told Britain’s Grazia magazine. “With age comes experience, assuredness and knowledge, all of which are very desirable attributes in a woman.”
Victoria, who shares four children with her former soccer player husband David Beckham, adds she no longer needs to dress in a provocative way to feel attractive.
In fact, she shares that now she rarely goes out in out in public wearing revealing attire.
“I think it’s sexy when you leave a little bit to the imagination,” she explained. “It feels like a newer, fresher take on what might be considered sexy. I think sexy comes from within, I think sexy is the way you conduct yourself. I think I have to feel sexy to look sexy. With regards to the collection, Victoria says she would happily wear each piece herself.
“I really feel proud of this collection, like I came into my own,” she smiled. “I’d say it’s easy and happy. And I guess that’s how I feel. I’m really lucky to absolutely love what I do and for things to be going so well and to have such a great family.”
