
Student protests across SA became increasingly violent today, as police and protesters clashed on several campuses. In a video allegedly taken at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, protesters can be seen lifting and overturning a car, which reportedly belonged to campus security.

The students then flee after what sounds like gunshots ring out.

Earlier students had climbed over the fences to gain access to the campus.
