The recently released trailer for the sci-fi film Chappie, which was shot in South Africa, also features Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel and Australian actor Hugh Jackman.
Dev plays a scientist who reprograms a robot, called Chappie, to think and learn for itself. If the trailer is anything to go by, Die Antwoord’s Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er befriend Chappie, while Hugh’s character believes that a robot who can think for itself is dangerous and should be stopped.
Chappie is due to be released in March 2015.
