We all know them – the traffic fiends who push up your blood pressure and have you grinding your teeth. And according to 49 per cent of the users of website Roadhogs.co.za Johannesburg is the worst city in which to venture on to the road.
Roadhogs allows motorists to report bad drivers free of charge by posting their registration numbers on its web page. Pretoria has attracted 15 per cent of complaints, Cape Town 13 per cent and only three per cent of users think Durban is the worst urban area to drive in. Furthermore Volkswagen drivers are responsible for most of the transgressions reported on Roadhogs, namely 18 per cent. Hot on VW drivers’ heels are Toyota (15 per cent) and BMW drivers (14 per cent). Interestingly, only five per cent of complaints on the web page are about minibus taxis.
