Who would have guessed! JLaw has a thing for Englishmen

Jennifer Lawrence finds Englishmen “just so charming”. The 24-year-old actress was recently rumoured to have rekindled her romance with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and previously dated British actor Nicholas Hoult. She said she has quite the soft spot for men from the United Kingdom, as she all but admitted her relationship with Chris.

'I do seem to like Englishmen, don’t I? You guys are just so charming'

“I do seem to like Englishmen, don’t I?” she laughed in an interview with UK newspaper The Mirror. "Oh gosh, I don’t know. You guys are just so charming. Oh God... now I’m blushing and scratching and itching and sweating.”

Jennifer is touring the world promoting her latest movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. The timing has worked well for the star, considering it gives her something else to focus on other than her relationship with Chris, and also from the nude hacking scandal. Inappropriate photos of the actress were leaked at the end of August.

“It is a sexual violation,” she said of the incident. “Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this.

"It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world.”

JLaw also recalled the day she realised fame would be a big part of her life. After the first Hunger Games movie came out, she was followed by a pack of paparazzi which caused her to run home and lock herself inside, scared.

“Then my doorbell rang and all of my friends were there with wine and vodka and the things I needed,” she added.

The star notes how lucky she feels to have such a successful career. But she’s quick to add that there are difficulties such as these that come with the territory, which she’s currently trying to battle without becoming a different person.

"I don’t want to change but people need to stop being such a**holes,” she told the publication.
