African National Congress stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela is to undergo surgery again, her daughter Zindzi Mandela wrote on social networking site Twitter on Monday. "Wishing my mother a speedy recovery and good luck with the surgery. Love always," Zindzi Mandela tweeted. It was not clear what surgery Madikizela-Mandela was undergoing.

In September that same year, she was admitted at the Life Brenthurst Clinic in Parktown for minor surgery to her ankle.
In June 2012, Madikizela-Mandela was admitted to hospital and underwent surgery after falling and breaking her right wrist.
