They're a notoriously private couple but every now and then they offer a sneak peek into their private lives – and this time the occasion was Spanish crooner Enrique Iglesias’ 47th birthday.
To celebrate the day, his longtime partner, Anna Kournikova (40), shared an adorable photo on Instagram. In it the Russian former tennis player holds their four-year-old twins, Lucy and Nicholas, on her lap while their little sister, Mary (2), is seen on her father’s shoulders.
“Happy birthday to the most amazing dad!” she captioned the Instagram post. “We super love you!”
Enrique also shared another glimpse into their home life on Mother’s Day where he posted a video of Anna dancing and headbanging with Lucy. “Happy Mother’s Day!” he captioned the clip. “To all the mothers around the world: you rock.”
The couple, who are rumoured to have secretly wed, have been together for 21 years, having first met in 2001 on the set of the music video for Enrique’s hit song Escape.
They appear to be devoted parents and in a 2018 interview the Grammy winner described becoming a father as incredible and one of the best feelings in the world.
He also gushed that it's been amazing to watch Anna transition into her new role. “It’s incredible to watch her be such a great mother,” he told British newspaper The Sun. “It’s incredible to watch a mom do what she does when a mother’s instinct kicks in.”
Despite his huge popularity, the hunky pop star has hinted that his current album Final might be his last.
Last September he released Final Vol 1 with the singles Pendejo and Te Fuiste featuring Puerto Rican rapper Myke Towers. In March this year he released the romantic balled Espacio en Tu Corazón, which features on the upcoming Final Vol 2.
But he’s not ready to retire completely and insists he'll still make music. “I’m never going to stop writing songs because I love writing songs, but I’m going to do it in a different way, meaning they don’t necessarily have to be packaged as an album," he told People magazine.
