They’ve been together since her Spice Girls days over 20 years ago but Emma Bunton and the love of her life have finally walked down the aisle.
The 45-year-old singer – better known as Baby Spice – has secretly married her longtime beau, Jade Jones (42), and announced the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday.
She shared a stunning snap of herself in a 1960s-style short white dress with her new husband, who looked dapper in a Gucci blazer, cream chinos and a brown trilby hat.
“Mr and Mrs Jones,” she captioned the post that garnered a flurry of congratulations from fans and fellow singers, including her Spice Girls bandmates.
Mel B (Scary Spice) wrote “Yippeeee” in the comments while Mel C (Sporty Spice) gushed, “Yeaaaahhh! Congratulations – love you all sooooo much!”
Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) wrote, “Congratulations love u both so much!!” while Geri Horner (Ginger Spice) shared the image on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Congratulations @Emmaleebunton and @JadeJonesdmg So happy for you and your lovely family.”
Emma and Jade, a former singer with boyband Damage turned chef, have been engaged since 2011 and together for 23 years. They have two sons, Beau (13) and Tate (10).
Back in 2018, Emma told BBC Radio 2 that although she and Jade would “love” to wed, there were a few issues that concerned them.
“We try to, but we want it to be private and every time we try it's out there. We want to do it privately on our own.
“We should elope, but we can’t organise anything, Jade and me.”
Last month Emma revealed they were keen to have more children despite the fact she’s had fertility issues that include endometriosis.
Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine where she was promoting her new book on motherhood, Mama You Got This, she said they were “always broody”.
“I think we are at the stage where we are very much like, if it happens it would be amazing.”
She says her boys would love a sibling. “They put that at the top of their Christmas list this year. I mean, no pressure!” she told Netmums’ Sweat, Snot & Tears podcast last year.
