With her shock of auburn hair, sultry pout and
racy Instagram snaps, it's easy to see why Bella Thorne's army of online
followers would flock to her OnlyFans account.
It took only one day for the former Disney star to become the first creator to make a $1 million in 24 hours on OnlyFans, a subscription platform that allows creators to sell content directly to fans and has primarily been used by sex workers.
But those who dug deep into their wallets for the $20 required for a 30-day subscription found themselves playing a game of spot the difference between what Bella (22) posted to the X-rated site and the snaps on her Instagram account.
So far updates to her account have included a relatively tame array of shots from Bella's Los Angeles home, among them images of the former Disney star sunning herself in a variety of bikinis and eating an onion-laden hot dog, as well as general domestic shots of the actress and her pet dog.
However, the dollars and subscribers continued to pour in at breakneck speed, and within a week the actress announced that her account had raked in a whopping $2 million.
But the Midnight Sun star isn’t the only star
making waves on the London-based subscription service.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit OnlyFans has seen an enormous spike in signups, with music superstar Beyoncé name checking it on the remix to Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song, Savage.
The platform has 60 million users and 750 000 content creators globally, according to most recent data.
And as the sexy social network grows, more and more celebrities are setting up OnlyFans accounts to share their private videos and connect with their fans.
Cardi B
Soon after announcing that she would be launching her own page, the rapper quickly determined that her page, which was initially set at $9.99 for a monthly subscription, was too expensive.

After bringing the price down to $4.99,
Cardi released her first content — a behind the scenes look at her recent Elle magazine cover shoot.
"I literally listened to the entire Teyana Taylor album shooting this cover. I know this clip is quick, but it’s just a small dose of the content I got coming for ya. WAP music video BTS coming soon!" she captioned the 18-second clip.
According to OnlyFans, the 27-year-old is going to use her page to “address ongoing rumours, share glimpses into her personal life, connect closer with her fans, and much more.
Blac Chyna
The 32-year-old model got creative in finding ways to generate an income during the pandemic.

Chyna announced her OnlyFans
page in April by posting a preview of a foot fetish video on her
Instagram that features a close up on her foot stomping on a bowl of grapes.
She also made headlines earlier this month after she began offering fans a chance to chat with her on FaceTime for a hefty fee of $950 a call.
Swae Lee
OnlyFans isn't just for adult entertainment – some celebrities have used it to promote upcoming projects.

Rapper Swae Lee, who performs solo and as part
of the duo Rae Sremmurd, used an OnlyFans announcement as a draw
to the music video for his song Reality Check.
The 27-year-old created a free OnlyFans page and has only been active on it twice, when he posted teasers for the music video.
The-Dream
The-Dream is another star who took his own OnlyFans account in an unconventional direction by using it to promote his latest album, Sextape 4.
The-Dream created a free OnlyFans page
where fans can stream his latest tracks, watch performances by select OnlyFans
models to the sound of Sextape 4. Fans are also encouraged to send in their own
videos of themselves dancing to tracks off the album.
Tana Mongeau
The influencer is known for her online publicity stunts - like marrying fellow Youtuber Jake Paul for a few months – so her announcement that she pivoted to OnlyFans wasn't too surprising.

On her page, the 22-year-old has been active since launching in May 2020 and unlike most pages that charge flat subscription fees, her page is free — but fans have to pay for each content drop.
