The bride arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s Can't Help Falling in Love and then drove off with her groom after the nuptials in a Rolls-Royce.

But despite all this, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s wedding at their secluded Thousand Oaks home in Los Angeles was rather low-key compared to the lavish festivities of some other celebrities.

The reception was a "relaxed dinner vibe" where guests indulged in comfort food and and saw Brit (40) dancing barefoot, showing she remains a simple girl at heart.

The Grammy winner had plenty to celebrate as she tied the knot with actor and personal trainer Sam (28), having been denied the right to wed during her almost 14-year conservatorship, which recently ended.

The American pop star met the Iranian-born model in 2016 on the set of her Slumber Party music video in which he was cast as her love interest. Britney chose Sam as soon as she laid eyes on him. “I didn't have to audition,” he said. “It was a direct book.”

Now, almost six years later, they’re husband and wife.

“We really wanted to make this a small and beautiful moment with family and friends,” Britney told Vogue magazine about their fairytale-inspired wedding.

Here are a few noteworthy moments from their big day:

Just one Spears family member made the guest list

After their very public falling-out, it was no surprise that Britney’s father, Jamie (69), and sister, Jamie Lynn (31), didn’t get an invite to the big day. Her brother, Bryan (45), reportedly cracked the guest list but didn't show up.

Britney's sons from her marriage to back-up dancer Kevin Federline (44), Sean (16) and Jayden (15), also weren’t in attendance.

“They're happy for their mom and they're hopeful that Sam and Britney are starting a great future together,” Kevin’s lawyer told People magazine. “It's their night and they didn't want to take away from them.”

The Pretty Girls singer’s mom, Lynne (67), also wasn’t invited.

“You look radiant and so happy!” Lynne commented on one of her daughter’s Instagram posts. “Your wedding is the dream wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!” she added. “I'm soooo happy for you! I love you!”

Among the 60 guests at the intimate ceremony were Sam’s siblings and some of Britney’s close celebrity friends and supporters, including Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore.

A wedding crasher?

Fans were shocked to hear that Britney’s first husband, Jason Alexander (40), livestreamed himself crashing the wedding venue hours before the ceremony was set to kick off.

“Where’s Britney? I’m here to crash the wedding,” Jason said.

The singer was married to Jason, a childhood friend, for about 55 hours in 2004 before the marriage was annulled. He was restrained on the property by security before police arrived to arrest him.

Madge and Brit locked lips

Besides indulging in PDA with her hubby, Britney also shared some love with Madonna. The singers shared a friendly smooch at the reception almost 20 years after their iconic kiss and performance at the 2003 MTV VMAs, which had sent fans into a spin.

Paris Hilton ditched Joe Biden

The socialite and DJ, who attended Sam and Britney’s shindig with her husband, Carter Reum, revealed on her podcast, This Is Paris, that she turned down a prestigious gig in order to attend the ceremony.

“I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all of the other presidents from around the world for the dinner, but this was more important to me,” she said, seeming to refer to the Summit of the Americas where leaders from North and South America gathered in LA.

“I’m not gonna get into any details because it was the princess bride’s night and that’s her story to tell, but all I can say is I'm just so incredibly happy for her,” Paris added.

And the bride wore . . . Versace

Donatella Versace, who designed the bride and groom’s outfits, was also one of the famous guests at the bash.

“I wish them the best, they’re amazing together, I’m so happy for them,” Donatella told celebrity news show Access Hollywood, adding that designing the wedding look was “a lot of fun, a lot of emotion”.

The iconic Italian fashion house revealed on Instagram that more than "700 hours of hand sewing by tailors of Atelier Versace went into the crafting of @britneyspears' wedding dress.”

'[Britney] looked stunning. It made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale and they're a beautiful couple and just glowing. It really warmed my heart to see her so happy and free.'
