Break-up ballad queen Olivia Rodrigo has found love and appears to be happier – and busier – than ever.
On top of releasing her chart-topping debut album, Sour, in May and making waves in the White House, the 18-year-old singer reportedly has a new man in her life.
While attending the Space Jam: A New Legacy premiere party in California late last month, Olivia sparked romance rumours with 24-year-old producer Adam Faze when they were spotted cuddling.
According to an onlooker, Olivia brought Adam as her plus-one to the event and introduced him to fellow partygoers as her boyfriend.
"Olivia was in great spirits," the source says. "She and Adam were really cute together and weren't trying to hide their affection at all."
The pair seemed to confirm romance rumours when they were spotted on a PDA-filled outing in Los Angeles earlier this month. They were seen walking around town hand in hand before sharing a kiss at the car. It's unclear when Olivia and Adam started dating but according to an insider, they met through industry friends.
"It's only been a few months but she seems really happy with him and they are definitely getting serious."
So, who exactly is Olivia’s new boyfriend?
Adam boasts writing, producing and directing credits on his IMDb page, with the bulk of his work happening in 2020 and 2021. He has a writing credit on TV series Day by Day; has served as executive producer for the series; and has produced two short films, How Moving and River Fork, coming out later this year.
He also runs a production company, Must B Nice, with Jamie Dolan, with whom he also hosts the buzzworthy narrative podcast Day by Day.
But cosying up to her new bae and dominating the charts isn’t the only thing hardworking pop sensation Olivia has been up to recently.
Earlier this week the Traitor singer visited the White House to meet with President Joe Biden and his chief Covid-19 medical adviser, Dr Anthony Fauci, to record videos to encourage young people to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
"I am beyond honoured and humbled to be here today to help spread the message about the importance of youth vaccination," she said from the White House press briefing room podium, clad in a chic vintage Chanel suit and white heels.
Olivia will "record videos about the importance of young people getting vaccinated, including answering important questions young people have about getting vaccinated", a White House official told CNN.
The videos will be featured on the teen’s social media channels as well as on the White House's accounts.
