It seems not everybody hates Chris Rock.
The 57-year-old Everybody Hates Chris star was recently spotted with actress Lake Bell over the course of two days in what seemed like a weekend of bliss for two lovebirds.
Chris and Lake (43) sparked romance rumours after they were spotted leaving posh celebrity dinner spot Giorgio Baldi in California, in the US, on Saturday.
The comedian led the way for Lake, but abruptly let go of her hand when he saw the paparazzi swarming outside.
The pair were seen together again on Sunday morning as they enjoyed each other’s company over breakfast.
Although they didn't engage in any public displays of affection, they appeared to be flirty and in good spirits.
Sources say Chris, who is currently on tour and preparing for a forthcoming comedy special, seems to be dedicated to making things work with Lake.
“It’s a good sign when he’s making time for someone while on tour,” an insider says.
“He’s hyper-focused on his tour and upcoming comedy special, so I know he really likes her since he’s making seeing her a priority.”
The comedian has been plagued by paparazzi ever since actor Will Smith slapped him onstage at this year's Academy Awards ceremony.
Despite all the recent attention, Chris “wasn’t going to let that impact how he lives his life," the source says.
"If he wants to do something or go somewhere with someone, he will. Chris is in a really good head space right now – he's happy and enjoying life."

This is the second time the rumoured new couple were pictured together.
Just a few weeks ago they were seen enjoying a baseball match.
Chris and Lake have both been married previously and have two children each.
The comedian was married to Malaak Compton-Rock (53) from 1996 and filed for divorce in 2014 after admitting to infidelity and pornography addiction.
He has two daughters, Zahra (18) and Lola (20), from his marriage. Lake has a son, Ozgood (5), and daughter, Nova (7), with ex-husband Scott Campbell.
Scott and Lake went their separate ways in 2020 after being married for seven years.
Although Chris has in the past said that he isn't looking to settle down again, we can't help but wonder if Lake could be the one to change that.
