She’s never hesitated to go under the knife or get jabbed with a needle to improve her looks – and she isn’t shy to admit it either.
In her most recent confession, Chrissy Teigen revealed she’d had fat removed from her cheeks in a procedure called buccal fat removal.
In a clip shared to her Instagram story, Chrissy explains that it was done by Dr Jason Diamond, a well-known Beverly Hills surgeon.
“I did that Dr Diamond buccal fat removal thing here,” she says, pointing to her cheekbones and adding that since she quit drinking in December, she’s “really seeing the results and I like it”.

During the procedure,
the buccal fat pad, which is found naturally in the cheek hollow area, is
removed using a suction device. A doctor makes tiny incisions in the cheek
before using a small metal tube called a cannula to remove the fat.
The cheek liposuction takes about an hour to complete and costs anywhere between $2 000 (R29 124, 40) and $5 000 (R72 811).
It may seem like a lot of money for a procedure many might consider unnecessary but when Chrissy (35) has unwanted fat in an area, she’s prepared to fork out the bucks to get rid of it.
Back in 2017 she admitted to having liposuction in her armpits because she didn’t like how she looked in a dress.
“I had an armpit sucked
out, which was one of the best things,” she said at the time.
“It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I’ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly.”
She also later revealed she regularly gets Botox in her armpits to keep her from sweating there and staining her clothes.
Last year she showed her Instagram followers the scars from her surgery to remove her breast implants. “They’ve been great to me for many years but I was just over it,” she said at the time.
“I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me!”
