Britney Spears is going to be a mom for the third time, but someone isn’t sharing in her excitement.

The Baby One More Time hitmaker (40) shared the exciting news with her fans on Instagram. It will be her first child with her fiancé, Sam Asghari, who she sometimes refers to as her husband, raising speculation that a secret wedding was, or is, on the cards.

Britney, who has two sons, Sean Preston (16) and Jayden James (15), with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, has received an overwhelming show of support from her fans.

Kevin, who met Britney when he was one of her backup dancers in 2004, shared a message congratulating the mother of his sons.

“Kevin is aware of the recent posting by Britney regarding her announced pregnancy and wishes her a happy and healthy pregnancy,” shared his attorney, Mark Kaplan.

“He wishes her the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together.”

According to an insider, Britney and Kevin don’t have a close relationship “other than everyday co-parenting stuff”.

“They’re cordial but they don’t do very much as a family,” said the source.

Britney’s other famous ex, Justin Timberlake – who she dated between 1998 and 2002 – had nothing to say about the happy news.

When asked by paparazzi in Beverly Hills what he thought of his ex’s news, he shut them down immediately.

“Stop! Go away,” he said, shooing the cameraman.

Justin’s response comes as no surprise especially given Britney’s recent since-deleted post about how he used her name to sell his hit single Cry Me A River, which insinuated that she had cheated on him.

While Justin remains mum on the baby news front, Britney cannot wait for her bump to start showing and has even been modeling her maternity clothes in preparation for baby number three.

Plenty of other celebs have been more gracious about Brit’s pregnancy, with her old friend Paris Hilton tweeting, “So happy for you sis! @BritneySpears You are an incredible mother and cannot wait for your new baby on the way!”

Paris added, “Sending all my love and congratulations your way to you and Sam!” referring to Asghari.

Iggy Azalea, who collaborated with Brit on the track Pretty Girls in 2015, dropped the celebration emoji in a comment and Jersey Shore star Jenni JWoww’ Farley wrote, “Congratulations”.

Chloe x Halle singer Chloe Bailey commented, “congratulations” and RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage wrote, “THRILLED for you and Sam, Britney!”

Selma Blair echoed, “I am so pleased for you both. To say the very least. Thrilled!!!”

Even Britney’s estranged sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, “liked” the post, but she did not comment.
