Silver, snowy, salt and pepper. Call it what you like, different shades of grey have long been associated with ageing – but it took a global pandemic and the fact we couldn’t leave our homes during lockdown to turn the idea around. 

Grey is no longer only for pensioners. A chic set of the glamorous and groomed are now saying a resounding nay to dyeing their locks and yay to embracing their natural streaks of silver. 

Grombré, as the trend is called, has become a global movement for women – and a few men – who are revolutionising the way we treat our hair.
