Tiffany Haddish has opened up about family planning and why surrogacy is not for her – although that doesn’t mean she’s ruled out motherhood altogether.
The 41-year-old actress and comedian didn’t mince her words on the issue of surrogacy during a recent interview on E!'s Daily Pop.
“I don't wanna pay nobody to carry my baby neither, ‘cause then I have to go through a process of giving myself injections and all that stuff,” Tiffany says.
“And here goes something everybody don't know, I'm gonna tell you: When I was 21 I was really hard up for some money and I gave up a bunch of eggs.
“I might got some kids out here in these streets. I doubt it, though, because I never got the bonus. Maybe somewhere though, in cryo somewhere!”
Tiffany, who was placed
in foster care as a child, says she’s always taken precautions to stop herself
from getting pregnant.
“Let me tell you, if I get pregnant that is all God tearing down all walls, all barriers.
“I have definitely taken the precautions to protect me.”

However, the Like a Boss star – who’s currently dating rapper Common – would like to adopt a child and is currently taking parenting classes to help her prepare.
“I'm looking at [ages] five and up, really like seven. I want them to be able to use the restroom on their own and talk. I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them,” she says.
Tiffany has spoken out about her desire to adopt a child before on a podcast with Common.
“I just want to bring to them survival skills, share everything that I know with them.
“I definitely want to either foster kids or adopt and get them at, like, seven – where they know how to use the bathroom already on their own, they can communicate, they can tell you they're hungry. They should have some kind of manners, and if not, they can learn 'em,” she said.

This is an about-turn for Tiffany, who last year said the world was too grim a place to raise a child.
On a podcast with professional basketball player Carmelo Anthony, she became emotional when the subject came up. George Floyd had just lost his life under a policeman’s boot and she said she feared a child of hers could suffer a similar fate.
“I'm a little older now and people are always asking when I'm gonna have some babies,” she said. “I always make up these excuses like, 'Oh, I need a million dollars in the bank before I do that, I need this, I need that.'
“But really, it's like, I would hate to give birth to someone that looks like me, knowing that they're gonna be hunted or killed. Like, why would I put someone through that?"
