Seems Scarlett Johansson has a good reason for skipping publicity events to promote her new movie, Black Widow: the actress and her husband, Colin Jorst, are rumoured to be expecting their first child together.
Although the couple have yet to confirm the happy news, multiple sources told US celebrity news outlet Page Six that there’s definitely a baby on the way.
“Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled,” an insider revealed.
She’s reportedly been going all out to keep the pregnancy under wraps.

According to another insider, The Avengers star usually enjoys her summer in New York “and you’d often see her walking her dogs on the beach or getting coffee”, they shared. “But this summer it seems like she is deliberately trying to keep a low profile.”
The 36-year-old star – who already has a daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac (6), with ex-husband Romain Dauriac (39) – has succeeded in keeping her second pregnancy secret by doing promotional events for her new movie, which is a huge Marvel/Disney release, remotely by video call.
Colin (39) and Scarlett first started dating in 2017, shortly after she filed for divorce from Dauriac, who is a French journalist.
Although Colin and Scarlett first met each in 2006 on the
set of comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, where he works as a writer, they weren’t romantically linked until 2017 when
they were spotted kissing at a party.
“The first time she hosted was the first year I was a writer on the show,” Colin recalls of their initial meeting.
“So, we’ve kind of known each other since then . . . she’s the best.”
Seems he can’t get over his luck at being married to one of the sexiest women on the planet. He has described her as having “a grace and a smile that I've still never seen in any other human".
But it appears that while he was struck with her, it took Scarlett a while to notice him. In an interview she admitted that she only really became aware of Colin in 2010 when she appeared on Saturday Night Live for a third time and they worked together on a 16 and Pregnant-themed parody sketch which she starred in.
“That’s my first memory of him,” she recalls.
“He seemed very confident at the time. I don’t know if he felt that way, but in that environment if you’re not confident as a writer, your stuff just never gets produced.”
The lovebirds tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2020 after three years of being together and are now expecting their first child together.
“I’ve met someone I love. And who I feel more comfortable with than I ever have before,” Colin penned in his memoir, A Very Punchable Face.
