Every cloud has a silver lining and for Lisa Rinna, it’s her youngest daughter’s breakup.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had made no secret of her displeasure with daughter Amelia Hamlin dating Scott Disick.
Amelia (20) and Scott (38) were together for less than a year before splitting up, and Lisa (58) is positively giddy with glee at the news.
The actress replied to a tweet about the breakup with a smiley face emoji.
Before news of the breakup made headlines, she’d already seemingly hinted at the couple parting ways when she shared a picture on Instagram of Harry Styles blowing a goodbye kiss.
The mom of two never shied away from voicing her dislike
of Amelia’s romance, previously saying it had “completely surprised her” and even
describing it as “just a phase.”
“It’s a what the f**k moment. She’s 19! He’s 37 with three kids, hello!” Lisa said earlier this year. Her husband, actor Harry Hamlin (69), had also expressed his concern about the age gap, calling it odd.
On a recent episode of Real Housewives, Lisa compared Scott and Amelia’s relationship to her eldest daughter, Delilah Hamlin (23), dating former Love Island contestant Eyal Booker (25).
“Harry has made it quite clear that he wouldn’t object if Delilah and Eyal got married, which is pretty shocking, but that says a lot,” she said. “I can’t say the same for Amelia at this point now.”
Why couldn’t Amelia be with someone like Harry Styles, she lamented. “Why. . . is it Scott Disick?”

Sources close to Amelia say she decided to take time away from Scott following the Instagram drama involving his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian (42), model Younes Bendjima – another of Kourtney’s exes – and Kourtney’s new beau, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker (45).
Younes (28) had taken to Instagram to share a direct message he allegedly received from Scott in which the reality TV star seemed to mock Kourtney and Travis, who were snapped involved in some PDA in Italy.
Then Amelia seemed to jump into the conversation by posting a pic to Instagram of a woman wearing a top that read, “Don’t you have a girlfriend?”
“Scott was trying to write the situation off as nothing,
but as the days went by, Amelia was more and more hurt by the whole thing,” the
source says.
“She’d had enough and it was time. Her friends are all rallying around her and supporting her through this. Everyone knows she deserves better. She knows it too.”
