Actress Sarah Jessica Parker can always be counted on to demonstrate an important fashion lesson, whether she's twirling in a glam ball gown on the red carpet or running errands in sneakers.
The style queen taught her latest fashion masterclass at the beach, demonstrating the importance of investing in a quality swimsuit that you can wear year after year after year.
Sarah (57) recently took a break from her New York home for some fun in the sun in the Hamptons.
While on the beach with her husband of 25 years, actor Matthew Broderick (60), the And Just like That star bared her gym-honed figure in her favourite black one-piece swimsuit by Malia Mills, which costs $445 (R7 120).
She kept her gorgeous locks tied in a bun and accessorised the look with a pair of shades while spending part of her day reading a good book.
If SJP’s one-piece looks familiar, it's because she was pictured wearing the same swimsuit several times in 2015, in 2018 in Montauk and again in the Hamptons the following year.
In a snap posted to her Instagram account in 2015, the two-time Emmy winner told fans, “For those who asked, my suit is @maliamillsnyc and is called ‘beach party’. I'm a loyal customer and big fan.”
It's unlikely the Divorce actress is wearing the same exact swimsuit given that swim wear degrade over time so it's possible that or if she just keeps buying the same style from Malia Mills every summer. But one thing’s for sure, SJP is a creature of habit.
She may have made a name for herself playing her iconic label-obsessed Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw, but she definitely doesn't have the same shopping habits. In fact, Sarah says shopping sometimes can give her anxiety.
“I’m not a crazy shopper,” the mom of three admitted during an interview on Australian radio station The Fox in 2019.
“Yeah, I haven’t been for many years. I mean, I think I used to be a little more so. But shopping sometimes can give me anxiety, like, I feel bad. Like, I buy something and I’m like, ‘Oh, do I really need that? Will I want that in five years? Is that gonna look good on me in five years?'"
With her classic cozzie, the answer is a definite yes!
