Kate Hudson now has the best reason to spend more alone time with partner Danny Fujikawa: sex keeps her trim. Especially when you dedicate one hour and 20 minutes at a time to it, as she does.
The mother of three, who’s partnered with fitness programme WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) for the past two-and-a-half years, says sex has now been added to the app as one of the workouts you should do to stay in shape.
WW uses fitness points to help users keep track of their wellness and Kate took to Instagram to reveal she would receive six points by having relations with her partner.
As far as she’s concerned, it’s one of the best forms of exercise you can do – and if Kate’s body is anything to go, it works.
“If anyone needs me, I'm going to be in my bedroom for a good, I'm going to say, hour-twenty. If he can handle it,” the 42-year-old actress jokes.

Kate is also quite the fitness bunny and regularly shares her varied workout programme, which includes Pilates and peloton classes. The star, who is the co-founder of activewear brand Fabletics, says growing up she was inspired to keep fit by her mom and stepdad, veteran actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
"I grew up witnessing my parents take care of their bodies. People always ask me how I get motivated to stay in shape,” she captioned a post of herself post-workout with her two-year-old daughter, Rani.
“The answer is, it's what I know. It's how I was raised. It's engrained in my brain that honouring and working our body is a gift and so I don't take it for granted.”
Kate welcomed Rani in 2018 and set out a goal of losing 11kg in baby weight. But unlike her previous pregnancies with Ryder Robinson (now 17), whose dad is ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham Hawn Bellamy (now 9), who she had with ex-boyfriend Matt Bellamy, the weight was harder to shed.
“Unlike with the other two, I didn’t really have time to workout,” she admitted.
“It took a different kind of discipline.”
But she’s back to her gorgeous best now – and in the hope of instilling the same discipline in little Rani, Kate often includes her in her workouts.
On average Kate tries to include three to four workouts a week and has a variety of routines to choose from.
Kate met actor Danny (35) when she was pregnant with Ryder. While the pair remained friends and mixed in the same social circle for years, it was only after they went for a hike in 2016 that they decided to go on a date.
“No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a move!” Kate captioned a post in celebration of their one-year anniversary.
“So on our 15th year of knowing each other we were able to open our hearts to each other to feel so much pure love and it’s been truly incredible.”
