It seems The Weeknd’s love-life is as on fire as his music career.

The singer was recently spotted cosying up to Simi Khadra, a model and influencer who DJs at Hollywood parties with her twin sister, Haze.

Simi is also a close friend of American model Bella Hadid, who dated The Weeknd on and off for four years.

An eagle-eyed fan caught the Canadian singer and the Palestinian DJ kissing while celebrating his 32nd birthday in Las Vegas, sparking dating rumours.

It’s not the first time The Weeknd – who's real name is Abel Tesfaye – and Simi (28) have been spotted together.

Earlier this month they were photographed enjoying dinner together in Los Angeles.

They were also seen leaving his album-release party together in January.

But those close to the Blinding Lights hitmaker say he's simply having fun.

“He’s dating and isn't in a committed relationship with anyone,” a source says.

The Weeknd and Simi’s relationship status might be music to Bella's ears.

Insiders say she was initially “a bit bothered” by Simi canoodling with her ex.

“Bella knows he’s been casually dating Simi for a while now so it’s not really news to her,” the insider says.

“Was she a bit bothered when she found out? Yeah. A lot of people would be in that situation. But it had nothing to do with jealousy or anything like that.”

Bella (26) expected a heads-up from her friend, according to the source.

“Bella just kind of assumed that was girl code and a line you just don’t cross without speaking to your friend about it first.”

The Weeknd and Bella met in 2015 when he asked her to pose for the cover of his album Beauty behind the Madness.

Though she declined, the pair hit it off and struck up a romantic relationship.

But the couple split up after a few months due to conflicting schedules.

Shortly after, The Weeknd started dating actress and singer Selena Gomez.

The pair grew quite close quite quickly – when Selena (29) underwent a kidney transplant in 2017, he was by her side.

“Abel has been one of her biggest supports,” a friend of Selena’s said at the time.

“She'd been traveling with him on his tour and he was off during her surgery and right after during her recovery.”

Fans were shocked when they called it quits after 10 months together.

But no one was really surprised when the three-time Grammy winner rekindled his relationship with Bella soon after.

In 2019 The Weeknd and Bella broke up again, this time for good.

Since then, he's been linked to several women but has never confirmed the romance rumours.

In late 2020 speculation grew that he was dating Spanish singer Rosalía (28), who featured in the music video for the remix of Blinding Lights.

Last year he was seen spending time with actress Angelina Jolie.

The two reportedly connected because Angie’s kids are major fans of his.

“They’re crazy about him and love him and his music,” a source says.

“They’ve all become quite buddy-buddy and the kids find it so cool that their mom has a connection with The Weeknd.”

Though speculation was rife that they were dating, their connection is said to be purely platonic as The Weeknd finds Angie (46) inspirational for his music.

“Angelina and The Weeknd have had a few meetups, but there's nothing romantic going on between them – at least that’s what friends are told,” a friend says.

Fans believe his new single, Here We Go Again, is about their relationship.

“My new girl, she’s a movie star,” he sings.

“But I make her laugh. Swear it cures my depressing thoughts. 'Cos, baby girl, she a movie star.”
