But it seems decades in showbiz have taken their toll on one of the world’s most successful stars. Celine Dion has been forced to postpone her latest Las Vegas residency because of crippling pain – and it’s the very platform that helped project her to stardom that may be to blame.

Celine’s sister, Claudette (73), says the steep incline of the stage at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas, the venue for her previous sold-out residency, has caused the singer to suffer “severe and persistent muscle spasms”.
