Who needs second-rate serenading when Adele is around?

The star was the life and soul of the party at her best pal’s wedding, where she officiated and performed some hits to guests.

The singer celebrated the marriage of her bestie Laura Dockrill to musician Hugo White in a ceremony over the weekend, People reports.

In videos from the bash The Someone Like You singer can be seen – and heard – hitting  the high notes as she and the bride sing along to songs including Spice Up Your Life by the Spice Girls and her own hit Rolling In The Deep.

According to Elle, guests took videos of the event which Laura, who’s an author and poet, shared on her Instagram story.

Those present were treated to excellent vocals and the exciting news that Adele will be releasing new music in September this year.

The bride and Adele have been friends since childhood and the singer wrote a song about her for 19, which was her debut studio album.

In 2018 Adele also wrote about Laura on Instagram, sharing her friend’s experience of postpartum depression.
