Many people believe we all have doppelgangers somewhere in the world, so could this be Trevor Noah’s long-lost twin brother?

Well, no, but Miguel Pregueiro’s remarkable resemblance to the comedian has caused quite a stir on the internet.

South African TikTok star and Latin pop singer Miguel (25) was inspired by his followers who kept commenting on his posts, telling him he looks like the 36-year-old comedian.

Miguel then decided to make a video on TikTok of him reaching out to Trevor in the hope of getting a response from the Daily Show host.

The video has subsequently been doing the rounds on social media and has gone viral.

“When I initially made the post about Trevor Noah, I had absolutely no idea it would go viral the way it did,” Miquel tells YOU.

“Of course, any piece of content that you create across any platform you hope can reach as many people as possible, especially as a singer-songwriter. Numbers and viewers of my content are incredibly important.

“You never know which post will be the one people really take to and the one about Trevor seems to be one of them.”

Miguel says he’d been compared to the comedian quite a lot by his classmates in high school and it’s carried through into his adult years. The two even look quite similar in their baby pictures.

However, Trevor isn’t the only celebrity Miguel has been said to look like.

“I actually hear more often that I resemble Ashton Kutcher and the actor who plays Jon Snow from Game of Thrones [Kit Harington], so seeing how many people believe that Trevor Noah and I could, in fact, be brothers has really been crazy for me!” he said.

Although Trevor hasn’t responded to him, Miguel is still hopeful he’ll get the comedian’s attention.

“I really hope he does respond to this. I would love to hear what he thinks about it all. Trevor, give the people what they want.”
