Thank you, next!

John Mayer took spice to new levels of heat when he trolled a celebrity mashup of John Lennon’s Imagine, created by actress Gal Gadot.

The original features a slew of well-known celebs including actors Kristen Wiig, Jamie Dornan, Natalie Portman and TV host Jimmy Fallon, People reports.

The 42-year-old musician shared the clip from his Current Mood series on Instagram where he joked that he was asked by the Wonder Woman star to be in the video montage.

In the clip, John hilariously gave the mashup an Ariana Grande twist.

“Hey everyone, John here with a Current Mood Mini. So this week Gal Gadot and a bevy of other celebrities released a rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine. It went far and wide across the internet,” the singer said.

“I have to come clean about something.

“They actually asked me to be a part of it, and I totally misunderstood the assignment and thought they wanted me to sing Imagine by Ariana Grande, from her 2019 smash-hit album [Thank U, Next],” he continued.

“They were nice enough to send over a cut. Take a look.”
