UPDATE: Meghan gives birth to a baby boy
Cape Town - Although the royal baby's due date remains a bit of a mystery, we just received another major hint that it will be soon!
The Duchess of Sussex's mother, Doria Ragland (62), has reportedly arrived in London, sources told Entertainment Tonight.
Doria, who’s a social worker and yoga instructor in Los Angeles in the US, was thrilled about the news that Meghan (37) and Prince Harry (34) are expecting their first child.
The grandmother-to-be expressed in a statement by Kensington Palace that she "looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild".
According to The Sun, Doria has even taken all the necessary measures to ensure she can stay as long as needed after the birth of her daughter's baby.
She reportedly cancelled the yoga class she teaches at a senior citizens' centre, hired a dog walker and is having a friend put out her bins.
"Like all moms, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life," a source told the publication.
"She has sometimes worried about being so far away, but she’s absolutely going to be there for her at the birth. She wants to spend as much time as possible with her first grandchild and has come over for a sustained period of time.
"Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mom, and the two have been enjoying spending time together."
Doria has a close relationship with her daughter and was the only member of Meghan’s family to attend the royal wedding in May 2018, reports Elle.
She also came to London for the launch of Meghan's first big solo project as a duchess, Together: Our Community Cookbook, which she created with the women of Hubb Community Kitchen.
