Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, dazzled onlookers as she and Prince William attended the Royal Variety Performance 2019 in London – where the mom of three let slip the one rule she makes Prince George and Princess Charlotte stick to.
Kate was dressed to the nines in an Alexander McQueen gown as she and Prince William stepped out for the event that raises money for the Queen’s Royal Variety Charity, Express UK reports.
The Duke and Duchess’ three children were absent from the star-studded occasion as Kate revealed that her children aren’t allowed out on school nights, Sun UK reports.
In September, Charlotte joined her older brother George at Thomas’s Battersea school in South London.
The royal pair met the cast of Mary Poppins, who performed at the charity event, and Kate joked with the cast how her children had been desperate to attend the show.
Prince William also told the cast how much he loves Mary Poppins, according to Mirror UK.
This is the third time Kate and William have attended the event, with the Duchess being pregnant on the past two occasions she attended in 2014 and 2017.
The money raised from the show helps hundreds of entertainers throughout the UK who need help due to illness.
Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, represented the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance.
