The SA electro-dance outfit have just released their first acoustic album, Up Close, featuring their hit track Rum and Cola. We caught up with lead singer Jules Harding to find out more.
What was the inspiration behind the album?
“When lockdown hit, our industry was one of the those that took the biggest knock. We had to cancel six tours and we were in a bit of shock. One day, I was sitting at the piano and this emotional rendition of Rum and Cola just poured out of me. I played it to the boys [Ben Peters and Tim Welsh] and the idea to record an acoustic album was born!”
