Marvel’s newest big screen superhero epic is The Eternals, a group of immortal beings with superhuman powers who have lived on Earth, in secret, for thousands of years.

The Eternals vowed never to involve themselves in the affairs of humans, but the return of their ancient enemy, the evil Deviants, forces them to reunite after 7 000 years to protect the planet.

English actress Gemma Chan takes the lead as Sersi in the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which is directed by Nomadland’s Chloé Zhao, who won the Oscar for best director this year.
