From the hospital corridors of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital as Dr Cristina Yang, via some globetrotting spy games, to the English department of Pembroke University as Professor Ji-Yoon Kim. That is where you will find Sandra Oh, starring as Professor Ji-Yoon Kim in The Chair, now streaming on Netflix.

Kim is the first woman of colour to be elected as the head of a struggling English department at the elite university.
