The Little Things
A trio of Oscar winners star in this throwback to serial killer thrillers of the 1990s. Denzel Washington plays deputy sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon, who must travel to Los Angeles to collect evidence in a murder investigation. When he arrives at the police department, no one seems very happy to see him. But then he meets hotshot detective Jim Baxter (Bohemian Rhapsody’s Rami Malek), who, hoping the older man might spot something the other cops have missed, invites Deke to a brutal murder scene of a young woman in her flat. Deke is drawn into the case and comes across a creepy loner, Albert Sparma (Jared Leto from Suicide Squad), who quickly becomes their prime suspect.
