Wonder Woman 1984

Months after Tenet and Mulan, there’s finally another epic action movie in cinemas. This is the sequel to the 2017 blockbuster Wonder Woman, which finally brought the iconic DC superheroine to the big screen. Set during the Cold War, the story follows immortal Amazon warrior Princess Diana of Themyscira (Gal Gadot), who now works as a museum curator. She’s shocked when Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), her lover who died during World War 1, returns from the dead and together they must take on dodgy businessman Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal, Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones), and mysterious villain The Cheetah (Bridesmaids’ Kristen Wiig).
