Preheat the oven to 160 ºC. Grease 8 ramekins or 8 cm round metal tart tins with butter or nonstick spray. Transfer to a baking sheet.
1. Divide the chocolate cake batter among the ramekins or tart tins – each should be half filled.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the cream cheese or cottage cheese until smooth. Add the mashed avo, castor sugar, vanilla essence and egg and beat until well combined.
