Preheat the oven to 190 ºC (375 ºF). Sauté the onion, garlic and chilli in a little oil till soft. Add the cumin and coriander and stir-fry for another minute. Add the remaining ingredients, except the topping, and mix lightly. Simmer for 5 minutes. Spoon into a deep ovenproof dish. Mix all the ingredients for the topping. Rub in the butter with your fingertips till well blended. Sprinkle over the bean mixture and bake for 30-35 minutes or till the topping begins to turn brown. Serve with a salad and bread. Serves 4-6.
