These days we always keep a jar of pickled calamari or seafood in the fridge at home in case friends pop in unexpectedly for a visit and a glass of wine. Delicious with savoury crackers or a slice of wholewheat bread.
1. Calamari Pat the defrosted calamari dry with paper towels then toss in the seasoned flour to coat.
2. Fry rapidly in a little heated oil for 2-3 minutes or until just done.
