This quick and easy meal serves 4. 

1. Slice the calamari into thin rings. Season the flour with salt and pepper. 

2. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan or wok. Toss the calamari in the flour mixture and shake away excess flour. Deep-fry the calamari in batches until browned lightly and tender. Drain on a paper towel.
