Ciabatta is delicious as part of a cheese and charcuterie platter. Mix the dough in an electric mixer or do it by hand using a wooden spoon (that’s how I do it and it works well).

1. Flour mixture Add all the dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well.

2. To bake Put the flour mixture in the bowl of an electric mixer, then switch on the K-switch. Add the water and keep mixing for 10 minutes until a fairly runny dough forms. Alternatively, beat for 10 minutes by hand using a wooden spoon. Cover and leave to rest for 4 hours.
