Hot cross bun ice-cream sandwiches

Ice cream sandwiches are a popular dessert. We made ours with hot cross buns for extra flavour and added Easter eggs to make it pretty too.

Keep a deep tart dish or ovenproof dish handy and line with clingfilm.

1. Slice the hot cross buns in half and arrange the bottom halves in the prepared dish.
