1 Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onion, garlic and chillies until fragrant. Add the mince and stir-fry until browned.

2 Add the spices and stew base and bring to the boil. Turn the heat down and simmer slowly for 15 minutes.

3 Add the peppers, stir and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season with the salt and freshly ground pepper.
