Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease 5 ovenproof glass pudding bowls, tins or ramekins with nonstick spray.

1 Put the butter, sugar, chocolate and water in a saucepan or a microwaveable bowl and heat until melted. Stir until smooth.

2 In a separate bowl, sift the self-raising flour, cocoa and coffee together, then slowly stir into the chocolate mixture.
