Crispy, spicy chicken wings are perfect for a weekend lunch. Serve them with your favourite dipping sauce and a side of hot fries. Make plenty, because everyone will come back for more!

1 Combine the spices in a bowl or zipper bag. Add the wings and toss or shake until well coated with the spice mix rub. Leave to rest for at least 30 minutes. (You can do this in advance and leave in the fridge overnight, but return to room temperature before cooking.)

2 When you’re ready to cook, toss the winglets in flour one at a time, and shake off any excess (you want a light dusting, not a thick coating).
