This dish is great with a salad, potato wedges or savoury rice. If you’re not a fan of chillies, leave them out.
1. Heat the oil in a large pan or wok until very hot. Add the calamari and fry in batches for 1 minute per batch. Shake the pan or use a spatula to prevent the calamari from sticking. Set aside until needed.
2. Add the butter, garlic, lemon zest and juice, parsley and chillies and fry for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Return the fried calamari to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes.
