This delicious winter soup can be enjoyed cheddar cheese and a French loaf.

1 Drain the peas then rinse and cook in clean water until soft (you can do this in the microwave).

2 In the meantime, fry the bacon and shanks in oil in a large pot. Add the fresh veggies and stir-fry until soft.
