1 Heat the oil and butter in a deep pan and fry the bacon until crispy. Add the onion, garlic and herbs and stir-fry until soft.

2 Add the mushrooms and stir-fry until cooked.

3 Drain, then rinse the oatmeal, drain again and transfer to the pan. Add the stock and bring to the boil.
